A saucer shaped Space vessel, the Duka Barh, exited a hyperspace portal and overlooked the moon, and the planet known as….. A voice comes from behind the bearded human man that sat in a bowl-shaped chair that had just descended to the metallic floor. The voice spoke, “Earth? The Ubide Command needs us in the war.” The human male with long brown hair and a neatly groomed beard spun slowly to face the female blonde human with an incredibly curvaceous body.

The human male responded firmly with great calm and confidence. He replied, “Rella, the Ubide dilemma outweighs the Ubide command’s needs and that of a treaty that no longer benefits the needs it was once entered into long ago.” Rella replied, “Rell, the Ubide command, and frankly even myself, grow weary of this ill attempt at revival. The war is priority.” The man now addressed as Rell slid graciously into a speech he had given many times before. Again, just like all the previous times, he still pleaded for it to fall on deaf ears.

He motioned with open hand and extended arm gestures to the gray alien bodies all around the massively sized command deck. The three feet tall gray aliens were all donned in shiny black uniforms. The exposed hands were gray with two long fingers and one thumb half that size. Their gray heads were bald and only small ear holes with no lobes were at each side of their heads. Each head rested on a long and skinny neck that did not seem as if it would be strong enough to support them but did. Their facial features were frightening in contrast to the two human faces on the command deck. They had small lips for a mouth but their nose featured no lobes like their human ears and only two short slits with a longer slit on each side of them. Their large, black, and shiny eyes were truly the frightening enhancement of their faces. There were two to four, or sometimes six of them that moved around like drones to their same image, only in a taller six foot, and still skinny body frame. The six feet tall Ubides donned the same shiny black attire, only with added long robes.

Rell continued his speech. He spoke, “We may only be cloned humans but our mixed DNA makes us Ubides and as Ubides, we must solve the crisis of our impending extinction. The Ubides have for a long time now lost the ability to produce a female. All from an accident of a scientific experiment intended to improve the race and only doomed it. There were now fewer generations that face the oncoming extinction that we were created to stop. Time that the Ubide Command once claimed that we had plenty of, has dwindled. A solution must be found very soon or the Ubides will not be around to fight the war. A war brought on by a race that should never have been considered as superior to the Ubides but now we serve them more than prosper ourselves.” Rella countered, “I understand but the Ubide Command feels it hopeless to continue support for your experiments and that support is growing smaller. The Ubides live for hundreds of years and the majority of the support for this project is with the eldest Ubides and those eldest Ubides are in rapid decline to age.” Rell’s response was swift as it has become over the years to the same claim. He responded, “Which is precisely the heart of the crisis. The few younger Ubides do not see what once was and have grown to accept their fate to serve the Derths until our last Ubide passes away as only a foot note in all of time. We tried to live forever and now we strive with seemingly little hope to avoid our extinction.” Rella sighed deeply. She shared the plight with the duty. She asked, “But Earth? The Humans are a durable race and found all throughout the known galaxies, more plentiful than any other race. The humans of Earth however do not show the promise that all other Humans share. These Humans of Earth still fight amongst themselves and still value profit over watching their own die. They think they are superior as do all humans but these Earthlings offer nothing to the universe. They refuse to work together and that is precisely why they cannot achieve the success of the other humans.” She looked again at Earth. She considered its value and admitted, “The planet does have massive quantities of water. That is a resource everyone needs.” Rell moved to stand at Rella’s side and share her view of the planet the saucer ship now rested above. Rell said, “That reason of the Earthlings is why we are here. They are deemed worthless. That is why they are off the Ubide Command radar and why I can proceed with my most brutal, yet crucial procedures. I still see their worth as merely a means to Ubide revival. All my studies point to the durability of the Humans.”

Rell gave the order to one of the six-foot tall Ubides to obtain him a male and female human subject for examination. The five three-feet tall Ubides around him began computer procedures. A cigar shaped shuttle slowly launched from under the saucer and slowly headed from orbit into Earth’s atmosphere. It entered a late-night sky and pierced the darkness with its multitude of various lights. It hovered over a wooded mountain area and a wide yellow light flashed. Four of the six feet tall Ubides stepped out from the light and approached a male and female human camper, paralyzed with fear of what they witnessed. They slowly guided the human campers, now seemingly entranced into the wide and circular yellow light. As the light vanished in another flash, so had they. The cigar shaped shuttle moved back through the atmosphere. It entered space and headed for a docking with the Duka Barh. The taller Ubide on the command deck with telepathy, instructed Rell that the subjects were aboard. Rell took Rella by the hand and ordered, “Prepare the main exam labs.” The two human clones mixed with Ubide DNA left the command deck together.

The human male camper now found himself fully alert. He was naked and struggled to free himself from a forcefield that bound him to a silvery metal table. He screamed but it was silenced by a wave throughout the forcefield. The fear he felt had intensified with the feeling of helplessness. It grew even more as he witnessed the shorter Ubides lower on a platform that circled around him. One Ubide moved closer and engaged a type of drill through one ear and out the other. The forcefield kept the brain and other organs alive. Another alien reached through the forcefield, like the one before. It seemed to not impede their procedure. He began to cut into the human man’s penis with a laser that peeled it open like a banana. Another Ubide inserted a hose through the opening and deeper inside the man’s cavity. The three looked to a taller Ubide overseeing their procedure. The taller Ubide looked toward Rell. With a shortly paused moment, Rell ordered, “Milk the sperm and bring me the egg.” The Ubide seemed to communicate the order telepathically to his Ubide drones. He then turned again toward Rell and delivered a telepathic warning. Rell admitted that he knew there was only five Ubide eggs left in the cryogenic chamber. He had only five more chances and believed that he was close to a solution. He had to take the risks. He then returned the order to record the man’s genetics in case of failure. He then admitted that he had to check on their other process with the human female subject.

Rella was standing with the human female as she screamed with fear and pain in her face. Rella held her and face and assured her that all would be fine. Despite the close face to face interaction, the human woman continued to scream and cry. Rell entered the room to reveal what was occurring behind her. Many male Ubides were taking turns inserting themselves into the woman with constant and violent thrusts. She was being raped and it seemed that every Ubide was getting a turn. Rella asked if this was clearly necessary. Rell admitted the cruelty but he had no other recourse. He had to have an impregnated human female with Ubide sperm through the traditional methods. He was trying all techniques at his disposal. The Ubide race had to survive.

Rell later made his way to another lab where he was informed telepathically that the human sperm had been artificially inseminated into the Ubide egg. They watched as the process was increased. Hope had grown across Rell’s face as the embryo formed and grew before their eyes. He watched the computer read the status. At seven months, it appeared as if the fetus would survive. It had worked. Then suddenly, the critical bar on the monitor rose and the fetus rapidly withered into a Ubide infant corpse. Rell was crushed. He bowed his head and clutched the console tightly. He then ordered the male to be rested and sperm milked again. They would inject another Ubide egg and proceed again without the enhanced and accelerated process. They would try another attempt with a natural timeline. He then started to leave the lab and stood frozen suddenly. He then ordered the male subject disposed. He added that they would take the female with them and hope that would show promise. He admitted that they still had multiple options. Rell then left the lab.

It was on Earth and three days later with a search party combing the mountain. The news of the missing campers Darren and Sarah had even captured the attention of several reporters. Two brothers were playing search in an area filled with dead trees. Their younger sister trailed behind them begging the older brother, Steve to slow down. Steve stopped and told Doug to look away. He then yelled back at Nicole to run and get dad. They each did as they were told. Steve looked at the several severed body parts of the human man scattered all about.
